The brand we know today all came about when the founders ran out of money while on a ski trip in France. So to cure this they set up a small shop that sold personal items and of these included their biggest asset of a VW camper van. As time went on they expanded the business and in 2005 the same company that owns the new look brand and shops in the UK bought the company for £100m. Away from boardroom talk and Fat Face hold a number of events each year which includes the very popular night wind surf event. This is held on Hayling Island which is located next to Portsmouth on the south coast and offers crowds a great windsurfing display, but at night. |
